Our Story

Hello, we are Tatay Allan, Nanay Set, and Agnes - the family behind Arruz.

After 15 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, we came home to the Philippines carrying more than just luggage; we brought home the flavors, memories, and warmth of Middle Eastern rice dishes that became part of our family’s everyday life.

 

In Dubai, searching for the best mandi and biryani became our weekend adventure; but nothing made Agnes happier than when Tatay would recreate those dishes at home, filling kitchen with the aroma of warm spices and the promise of a delicious family weekend!

 

Now we’re sharing that joy with you through Arruz (Arabic for "rice"). We are bringing authentic Middle Eastern heritage rice dishes to Filipino tables, prepared with the same care we serve to our family. Come dine with us!
